Album Info:When you get on I-70 from Topeka, the choices are East, to Kansas City, and West, to Salina. I've been to Kansas City several times, so I thought I'd try Salina today. It didn't disappoint. They have an old steam engine in a park there--a Union Pacific engine, this time. Also, their Union Station (Santa Fe and Union Pacific both used it) is still standing-UP still uses it as offices. The Missouri Pacific station is also still standing, but it is derelict, and the tracks no longer pass it. The Kansas & Oklahoma Railroad also services town, and there's a railyard, so even if you don't see a train go through, you should have some trains there to photograph. Oh, and did I mention there was an old Rock Island boxcar downtown? Enjoy the album!
