Here is the first of three successive original photos by Douglas C. Jones that were taken at the Ivy City Yard in Washington, D.C., c. 1953. Prominent here is the Washington Terminal Company's engine #19, a C-1 (0-8-0) switcher built in the Pennsylvania Railroad's Juniata Erecting & Machine Shop during January of 1927.
