Description: |
BN 2081 has been a BN Everett Wa "lifer" along with BN 2080 and together they made a million trips up and down Boeing Hill's 5% grade. So I see the unit in Bend OR which will turn out to be the farthest its ever been from home. |

BN 2081 |
Description: |
During the late 1980s and early 1990s the BN had two GP38-2s based at Everett that were configured with special brake systems for use on the Boeing spur located at Mukilteo. 2080 and 2081 pretty much stayed around Everett during that period, working local freights and switching the yard as well as pulling the Boeing local duties. The latter unit is shown here on an April night in the city's Delta Yard. |
