Shown here is PRR engine #6738, an M-1B (4-8-2) "Mountain" built as an M-1A by the Baldwin Locomotive Works during June of 1930, rebuilt in Juniata as an M-1B in October of 1948, and retired in September of 1959. Also visible to the right is PRR engine #920, a K-4S (4-6-2) "Pacific" built in Juniata in July of 1917 and retired in 1959.

Shown here (L to R) are Pennsylvania Railroad engines #920 and several others whose road numbers are not recorded. #920 is a K-4S (4-6-2) "Pacific" built in Juniata during July of 1917 and retired in 1959 after 42 years of faithful service. Description:  FM. Here is a duplicate 35mm B&W slide of a photo by Fred McLeod that was taken at the Horseshoe Curve near Altoona, Pennsylvania. In the lead is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #949, a K-4S (4-6-2) "Pacific" built in Juniata during May of 1918 and retired in November of 1951 after 33 years of faithful service. This photo comes from a slide set entitled "Horseshoe Curve, Pennsylvania Railroad" that's produced and distributed by Blackhawk Films of Davenport, Iowa (22-50).
