Description:  This is one of the Milwaukee Road shops built 2-8-0 Consolidations in the C5 class. The loco was constructed in 1912 and served until the entire class C5 was retired between 1945 to 1954. Specs - 63" drivers, 185 psi boiler pressure, 24x30" cylinders, engine wt of 224,000lb, tractive effort. Unfortunately, no photograher was listed for the photo.

Description:  This is one of the 15 class C5 2-8-0 Consolidatrion that the Milwaukke Shops built in 1913. Originally it carried the number CMStP #7240 but renumbered in 1927 to CMstP&P 7240 and again in 1938 to MILW 1240. The loco was retired sometime between 1945-54. Specs - 63" drivers, 185 psi boiler pressure, 24x30" cylinders, engine wt of 224,000lb, tractive effort of 43,130 lb. Unfortunately, no photograher was listed for the photo.

Built by the Milwaukee Road Shops in 1913 as CMStP #7243, it later was renumbered in 1927 to CMStP&P 7243 and again in 1938 to MILW 1243.
