| The M2 crew leads a handfull of cars just south of Olin avenue on WSOR's Central Soya spur. The boxcars are empties from Capital News, an outfit that prints both the Wisconsin State Journal and the Capital Times. Further back in the train are a couple of covered hoppers from Vita Plus. The switch in the foreground is for the former C&NW main that runs south from Madison through the communities of Fitchburg, Oregon and Brooklyn. Largely intact with a few grade-crossing exceptions, the line was rumored to re-open to serve a new business park. |
