Well as a train shooter I'm used to some distractions but not many and dogs normally are the most distracting factor but normally it's an unfriendly dog that distracts me but this time it was my own dog. I had went down the street to shoot NS 155 and all the sudden as I looked toward the train I saw my dog crossing the tracks. It turns out he slipped out of his collar and off of his chain. Anyway I relized that once Buck crossed the tracks he was going he was going to be sitting this one out with me. So I turned my attention to the train intending to get a photo but I made the mistake of switching the camera to video and insted of a photo I got a bad video. In the video you can barely hear me cussing. I might post that video on youtube but it's only 8 seconds. Anyway this black lab handles trains better than most dogs in fact the noise of the train dosen't phase this dog at all. Most dogs in my area are screaming their heads off whenever the train goes by. |
