| The west side of the long paved-over crossing of Springdale Road on the original Milwaukee Road east-west mainline across Wisconsin. It splits from the (present-day CP) Chicago-Twin Cities main a couple miles northeast at Brookfield Junction and the track ends just shy of where the Soo Line (present-day CN) diamond in Waukesha used to be. CN operated a portion of the line west of the diamond as a spur until a few years ago. From the west side of Waukesha westward, WSOR operates the remainder of the original line. |
