Flood damage
A 6 foot section of severely undermined trackage shows the power of moving water. A small pipe under the track was unable to handle the results of 8 inches of rain in a 8 hour period resulting in the water pushing through the ballast and rushing through to the other side. The railroad was acting as a dam until it was breached by the rising waters.
