| Standing on 3rd Street facing south, right in front of the KCS depot. Even though the last SOUTHERN BELLE ran in 1969, the bridge still advertised passenger service to New Orleans, Shreveport and Kansas City! Southbound passenger trains would descend the bridge from left to right and then back into the station; while northbound train headed in. |
