ICG crane 100408 helps clean up the mess after six cars on southbound piggyback train P-55 derailed at East Bridge Junction. The crane was built by the Industrial Works of Bay City, Michigan in August 1918 as IC X-99. It was subsequently renumbered IC X-111 and then ICG 100408, and is now owned by the Louisiana Railway Heritage Trust. The yellow backhoe is on the ICG main line and the crane is on the NS-ICG interchange track, while the UP units on the right were on the New Orleans Public Belt. |
