This locomotive was built in August 1959 as UP SD24B 418B (c/n 25406) on EMD Order 5602. It was sold to Precision National Corporation, Mount Vernon, Illinois, in October 1977, resold to ICG, rebuilt to ICG SD20 2003 in November 1979, sold to National Railway Equipment in February 1995, leased to Iowa Interstate (IAIS) 100, returned to NRE, in national lease service as NREX 100, as of July 2008, in service at a grain elevator in Lemmon, South Dakota. |
