CRIP 4-8-4 #5015 - Chicago, Rock Island & Pacific         
This good looking loco was built by Alco-Schenectady in August of 1929 as CRIP 4-8-4 Northern type loco #5015. After a rebuld, the 70" drivers were replaced with 74" ones which aided in high speed passenger service when needed. The loco was eventually retired and sold for scrap in July of 1952. Original specs - 69" drivers, impressive 250 psi boiler pressure, 26x32" cylinders, engine weight of 434,000 lb and tractive effort of 66,620 lb. No date location or photographer was listed for this photo so approximates were used.
