VSR 145         
I've never seen one in operation. I guess this machine pulls the rail from the racks and maybe cuts it too.

Kenneth Bean General This machine VSR145 picks up the rail and loads it onto the rack cars. The other flatcars are called threader cars and guide the rail up from alongside the tracks. 1/18/2012 9:25:42 PM
