| A few years ago I was in Australia on business. Had almost no opprtunity to experience the local rail activity. When I finally got free on a Saturday, I went to check out the commuter lines in Newcastle. Figured the traffic would be light on a weekend, but to my disappointment, discovered that the line was shut down completely that weekend for track maintenance! So this photo - more sightseeing than railroad - is pretty much all I got. Mostly, I posted this because I saw there were no shots in the database yet for Newcastle, NSW. |
