Railway station Kristinehamn, Sweden  Contributor's Pick!       
1842 began the construction of a railway line on the route. This was opened on Sept. 1850 and had horses propulsion method until 1858 when the first steam locomotive was put on the route. The railway line was later to became the initial part of the inland railway. Here the mile 0 is placed at Kristinehamns railway station.
