A pair of Marion Plywood Corp. cars at the CN, former C&NW, yard at Appleton Junction, WI on 10 Jul. '14. The crew was sorting cars and assembling the train they intended to haul to New London later that night or early the next morning. Unfortunately there was a slight mishap. It is difficult tell from this angle, but each of GLVX cars has a truck on the ground due to a minor derailment (behind the pile of new ties). You can see a broken rail sticking up beneath GLVX 26. Damage was minor and no one was hurt. |
