Ronald Howie General Originally built in 1913 as Texas Midland Railroad 200, it became SP 895 in April, 1928. It operated between Terrell, Texas and Paris, Texas up into the 1930s. Later, it operated between SP's Hardy Street Yards in Houston, Texas and Hempstead, Texas. 2/2/2019 8:57:37 AM
Ronald Howie General The original lamp was on top of the boiler, while the 1930s version has it on the front center of the boiler. Older photos show a different cow catcher design. 2/3/2019 6:48:29 PM
