This bridge carries (at one time) trains all the way to Fulton; before the 1930's, tracks went all the way to the north bank of the Missouri River near Jefferson City. Ferries took passengers across the river. This bridge hasn't been used in a while: witness the grass visible from the side. This view looks west. |
