Rush hour at Penn Station in the 70s was sometimes a free for all, especially if trains were delayed, which was common. The platforms were open, and commuters knew what track their train typically ran from. Thus, they would head down to track level early, and sometimes riders for several trains would be on the platform at the same time. Looks like this was one of those days. |
