This is a beautiful example of a 1927 Canadian Locomotive Company 4-8-4 "Confederation" type steam locomotive (CN's nickname instead of Northern). The loco is listed as a 4-8-2 in the RRPA database as there is no option for the 4-8-4 built by CLC. Specs - serial #1815, U-2a class, 73" drivers, 250 psi boiler pressure and tractive effort of 56,786 lb. No photographer was listed for this photo. |
