The locomotives on southbound Gulf, Mobile & Ohio train No. 33 (GP35’s 601, 645, 622) had uncoupled from their cars and were stopped just south of the Southern Railway depot at Slidell, Louisiana. The track in the grass on the right was the south leg of the Slidell wye, and the person on the ground between the 601 and 645 was standing next to the switch stand; but we don’t know what was going on.
