SP 358973 has received a new coat of paint at the San Luis Obispo Railroad Museum. The car was built in 1949 as a general service gondola, and was rebuilt in the late 50s with extended sides for use as a beet gon. The car operated for another 30 years before being retired in the early 90s, at which point it was acquired by the Western Railway Museum, who donated it to SLORRM in 2018. |
