| Former Chicago Central caboose 199506 was on display at Delmar, Iowa on 6-4-2011. This view shows the conductor's desk and seemingly comfortable chair (full disclosure: I didn't sit down in it!). Both seem a little worse for wear. That metal brace under the desk must have been very useful on many occasions! Note also the other various pipes in view and there may have been more. Comments about these are welcomed. |
