MELROSE NM Sept 21 1974 -- I stretched the film past its limits when I shot westbound Santa Fe U36C 8729 on a very overcast day. Just out of the photo on the right the double track ends. GE built this unit in March 1973. It was rebuilt as an RCE master U36Cu/SF30C and renumbered to 9508 in November 1985. It was retired before Sept 1997 and went to LRCX in August 1997.
