Rolling on down to the sea
Title:  Rolling on down to the sea
Description:  A 179 car coal train rolls under the SCL at N Collier as it makes its way down to NWs Norfolk coal piers. I wonder how many tons wound up along the right of way-look at the coal blowing off the cars!! The power was typical of these trains-this one is light, trains longer than 200 cars were common-as there is little gradient to overcome. Nice to see a Southern unit leading.
