Description:
Here are pages five and six of a ten-page booklet entitled "Pennsylvania Railroad Electrification" that was published by the PRR on 10 February 1935. Depicted here are two versions of the PRR's P-5A Class (2-C-2) electrics rated at 3,750 horsepower. At the right is engine #4760, a P-5A built by General Electric in October of 1932 and retired in November of 1964. At the left is engine #4780, a P-5A (Modified) constructed in Juniata during December of 1934 and retired in April of 1962.

Description:
Here is page six of a seven-page cover article by Henry F. Dimmler entitled "Pennsy's New Juice Jacks." It was published originally in the February 1954 issue of "Trains & Travel" magazine, page 20. Photo Caption: "P5a's, like 4760, were built in 1932 with 1250-horsepower-per-driving-axle rating. They were long backbone of Pennsy freight service." Pennsylvania Railroad engine #4760 is a P-5A electric built by General Electric in October of 1932 and retired in November of 1964 after 32 years of service.

Description:
Byerly. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide via Fred Byerly that was taken in South Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, in 1961. The photographer is not identified. Photo Caption: "Pennsylvania Nos. 4760 and 4755, Class P-5A, South Philadelphia, Pa., 1961." PRR engines #4760 and #4755 are both P-5A (2-C-2) electrics built by General Electric and rated at 3,750 horsepower each. #4760 was constructed during October of 1932 and retired in November of 1964, while #4755 was built during April of 1932 and retired in December of 1962. This photo comes from a color slide set entitled "Electric Railroading ~ Penn Central and Pennsylvania Lines" that's produced and distributed by Blackhawk Films of Davenport, Iowa (868-32).
